We arrived in Orange County like many of you, from other distant places. We both came from states that require a minimum of 5 hours flying in a plane to get to California- Wendell from Hawaii and I came from the East Coast. In the last 25 years we have both enjoyed discovering, experiencing and capturing the beauty in our County. And it still amazes us when we find a new ethnic community, event, park, restaurant, or shopping area that we didn’t even know existed before after so many years of living in Orange County. There is always something new and exciting!
We started ChooseOrangeCounty.com because we love living in Orange County and thought it would be a nice idea to help other people in the community discover new things about where we live along with us.
We also both have entrepreneurial spirits, and have both spent many years working as consultants. Wendell has an MBA from the University of California Irvine and I started my my first business at 21-with my entrepreneurial skills “forged by fire” working in the Design industry.
With our own experiences with the “struggle” of owning small business and meeting many other small business owners- we know what it’s like trying to grow a business.
When we put this together with how much we love living in Orange County we became inspired!!! Inspired to not only show the best Orange County has to offer as far as lifestyle is concerned, but to also give businesses a place to be “found” in familiar surroundings.

We look forward to sharing what we see, think, and feel about the place we live with others- yes we’re pretty excited about it! We live in a beautiful and diverse place with many different communities, cultures, religions, and philosophies and we are truly amazed how it all works so we hope you’ll join us on our quest by participating.
